To: Westwood Lakes Water District Water Users, Homeowners, and Property Managers
To Whom It May Concern:
As a result of the Public Hearing held on September 24, 2025, the Board of Westwood Lakes Water District approved the following changes in water rates and fees:
- Water rates—including the base rate and tiers—were increased by 2.27%, based on the Inflation Index for Denver–Aurora–Lakewood Consumer Price Increase, in accordance with the District’s Rules and Regulations.
- Attached you will find the updated Water Rate Schedule of Fees and Charges as well as a Three-Year Comparison Chart.
- Please review the 2026 Water Conservation Fees, which apply to households using 8,001 gallons or more in a billing period.
- As a reminder, effective August 14, 2024:
- The fee for a billing notification change from Landlord to Tenant is $50.00.
- The fee for a billing notification change from Landlord to Property Manager is $50.00.
- If a Landlord requests both Tenant billing and Property Manager communication, two separate agreements are required and therefore two $50.00 fees apply.
- No future rental deposits will be required or accepted.
